Photoshop Manipulation Project
The Ask
The goal of this project was to select any person and morph their face using three different Photoshop effects and techniques. Each image demonstrates a distinct creative concept and visual transformation that explores digital manipulation, texture, and realism while maintaining facial identity. We were then tasked to attach the original picture along with including instructions of how I created each effect.

Color Correction & Grading before-and-after tones showing warm vs. cool contrast.
Displacement Mapping – shaping textures naturally to facial contours.
Digital Illustration & Vectorization — a portrait shifting from photo to stylized vector art.
Layer Masking
blending multiple images seamlessly.
PROCESS
-
I had to first think of who I wanted to use to for this project.
My twin sister- We may be twins, but our differences define us as much as our bond connects us. I chose my fraternal twin to show how two people can share the same roots yet grow in completely unique ways.

Watched a few youtube tutorials on how to create the edits
-
I documented all the things I did to create the new images
The Outcome
The key takeaway from this project was learning how to use Photoshop to transform identity through digital art. I developed new skills in layering, masking, and blending to create realistic yet symbolic effects. Overall, the project highlights how technology and creativity merge to express personal transformation and visual storytelling.
